BBAW #3 Book or Genre inspired by another Blogger.

Before we get into todays activity we need to do a little dancing! This is my 200th post! Yippee!!! Doing the book bloggy dance!
Todays question:
Book bloggers can be some of the most influential people around! Today we invite you to share with us a book or genre you tried due to the influence of another blogger. What made you cave in to try something new and what was the experience like?
My Answer:
This is a very interesting question. I had to do a little thinking about this one because I have been influenced to try so many books by bloggers. So I thought I would go with my first one:) About a year ago I found a book blog called Caribous Mom. I felt like I had found a treasure. I spent two hours on there the first day and went back again and spent another hour. This is where I found one of my favorite top 3 authors, Kate Morton. She had done a wonderful review of The House at Riverton which intrigued me enough to try it out. I was so happy I did. I absolutely loved the book and it was one of the first books I reviewed. Her blog inspired me to start my first book blog which didn't really go anywhere, lol. If you haven't already please stop by and see her blog. Caribousmom is actually the reason why I started a book blog! We were in the same Yahoo book club several years ago and she kept linking to her blog posts. I finally decided--I would rather do that than this book club! :) Small blogging world...
